Impaired.

All day staring at the ceiling
Making friends with shadows on my wall
All night hearing voices telling me
That I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for something

Hold on
Feeling like I'm headed for a breakdown
And I don't know why

But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be...me

I'm talking to myself in public
Dodging glances on the train
And I know, I know they've all been talking about me
I can hear them whisper
And it makes me think there must be something wrong with me
Out of all the hours thinking
Somehow I've lost my mind

But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be

Matchbox 20 - Unwell

The perfect thing to take my mind off my own life maybe. Other people's lives. Whee. NOW I really need my Peroxil.

Nick Riley is my Hero!

To put it simply, Gatecrasher is out of this world. I still have enough alcohol in my veins to kill a cow but that didn't stop me from hopping around like an energizer bunny for more than 2 hours. Yes I got there late, but it was worth it, cos it was Nick Riley's set. You can clearly see though, the number of people that actually appreciated the music. Most of Penang's clubbers are still far behind from the looks of it. I was a little dissapointed with myself though, cos it took me 2 jugs of margeritas and 2 jugs of Long Island Tea before I started to get into the groove. How I wish it was like last time, where all it took Boon and me to peak was water and lollipops. Boon was going all the way though with his lollipops. Shen Hoei was utterly stoned, but managed to dance it all out of his system, Kenneth was there as well, enjoying the peaks on the speaker in the corner, and dammit I can't remember who else. Kelvin was enjoying himself working/dancing with us, even though one could see there's more than meets the eye. Ah well. To put it in a nutshell, Gatecrasher rocked, just like the last time they played in Backroom, KL. And I sure am not gonna miss it the next time they visit our shores.

For those of you who missed it, who really haven't lived have you?

Detrimental.

A little knowledge can be a little too much sometimes. For the past few days, it seemed to be happening a lot of times. Too much knowledge can drive one insane. Same as those who are curious by nature. I guess that's why Slaanesh's bigwig was known as the Keeper of Secrets. The question is always : to tell or not to tell. Damage control for the past week has been mostly unnecessary. Melvin seems to be taking things in stride, even though I found in necessary to hit him with a pickup truck. I guess it's his time to hit evolution anyway. :P

And speaking for evolution, X2 was a joy to watch. Doing a hell lot more justice than the first movie, any X-geek out there would be happily going, "Look! There's !" Ah, the joys of being a geek eh?:) Must see bits include Kurt Wagner's assasination attempt, Deathstrike vs Wolverine, Orora in PMS mode, Magnus' too much iron in your blood jibe, and of course, the rise of the Phoenix. Which of course, opens the way to X3 very nicely. So which mutants have we seen so far? Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Artie, Siren, Hank McCoy all have had their airtime. But I do have some questions though. Just who was that kid that was able to switch channels with his eyes? Can someone refresh my memory on just who is Jason Stryker? And how come there's no Remy LeBeau? So what can we expect from X3? Seeing Project: Wideawake folder next to Cerebro II, it's a safe bet that the Sentinels would be making their appearance soon enough. Also expect the following: Madeline Pryor, Mr. Sinister, Dark Phoenix, Wolverine vs Sabertooth(again), Havok, Freedom Force. Which mutant do I really wanna see make it to the big screen? The goverment mercenary Random. :) oh, and also Kwannon/Betsy Braddock/Psylocke. Well one can always hope right?

So that's one less must watch movie for the summer. Next of the list is none other than The Matrix:Reloaded. Yay. What else? Hmm. The Incredible Hulk. The Italian Job. Bad Boys II. S.W.A.T. , Pirates of the Carribean. Oh, and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle just for the heck of it. But what I'm waiting for only comes in fall, namely Underworld, and Deathwatch. Oh, and Nicolas Cage has been casted as Ghost Rider. This I gotta see.

Gatecrasher feat Nick Riley and Desire comes to Lush tomorrow, so I will be running around the island like a madmonk since I have to pick up Travelline, who's flying in for the rave, and also make sure that things don't get anal at work. Hmm. Now where did I put my Peroxil? :P
